If I can figure out how to get the video tape from my DV to the blog I will, we caught Jeremy saying prayer the other night and that's how he started the prayer. Sometimes I don't know how Wendy and I ever keep a dry eye. He still has faith when he of all people has every reason to doubt. He also learned in Sunday School about perseverance in prayer and that he should continue to pray for things that are important to share with God.
Along a similar lines, wanted to recommend a book that I recently finished called "The Shack" by William P Young. A great book about developing and nurturing your relationship with God and all your relationships for that matter.

Failed New Year's resolutions
As you can see, it has been over a month since I posted, so sorry for taking so long to update you. We have been busy with the everyday grind but have also had some fun recently. We have two fundraisers scheduled for the near future. April 1st the Forest Hill United Methodist Men have graciously offered to share proceeds from a spaghetti supper that night. They will also be honoring any "heroes" that show up in uniform with a free meal to thank them for their dedication. A well deserved tribute which I am sure will be well received at the firehouses and police stations in the area!!!!
The third annual ourboys 5k will be held June 6th at Harris Road Middle School in Concord, NC. Registration information will be available in the next few days on http://www.sportoften.com/. Stay tuned for more details!!!!!
